year 2: 2025/2026 season

Greetings to Current and Future NECT Families!

First and foremost, we want to extend a heartfelt shoutout to our inaugural Full-Year teams for their dedication and hard work this year, as well as to their families for their unwavering support.

  • A special congratulations to our  Junior Wicked Emeralds, who achieved a remarkable zero at their first-ever Youth Summit! We are incredibly proud of their performance at the Summit and throughout the season. This team truly put in the effort!
  • Kudos to our Mini Black Pearls for an outstanding first season, filled with accomplishments and their first-ever visit to Regional Summit!
  • Lastly, a huge applause for our  Senior Rubies. Your amazing performance at your first D2 Summit competition left us in awe! We eagerly anticipate what more you will achieve in your second year!

We are truly grateful that you are considering our gym for your athlete’s full-year experience for the  2025-2026 Season. As we step into year two, our excitement for what lies ahead is palpable!

With the past year as our foundation, our theme this year is Year Two: Level Up. Whether it’s in choreography or the actual levels of teams, our goal is to elevate both your athletes and our gym.

This year, we will be fielding the following teams:

  • Junior (flex)/Senior 3 (Rubies)
  • Youth flex/Junior flex 2 (Emeralds)
  • Mini/Youth (flex) 1 (Pearls)

Team placements will depend on the age and skill levels of the athletes being evaluated.

Additionally, we will conduct our choreography a little later this year, during one week in August, over Labor Day Weekend/Columbus Day Weekend. This will allow us to solidify skill sets first, maximizing our choreography sessions and freeing up those summer weeks for other activities.

We are excited to offer crossover athletes a $0 crossover monthly tuition, enhancing your athlete's ability to train and compete more effectively. Please keep an open mind regarding teams, levels, and placements. Our ultimate goal is to develop successful athletes. All-Star competition is challenging, and the levels of teams do not define your athlete's skill set. Training consistently in the gym, focusing on all skills, and providing opportunities for your athlete to work in all positions on the mat are the most valuable aspects we can offer.

I have gained so much knowledge this year. All-Star Elite is the best pathway to elevate your athlete’s skills. In all my years of coaching, nothing compares to the experience of an Elite All-Star athlete. I highly recommend encouraging your athlete to cross over as much as possible.

For those of us who experienced year one, it was evident in warm-ups and on the mats that the athletes of NECT are more than capable of achieving the greatness required in All-Star. I can hardly wait to form teams, build skills, and excel this year!
